L6000-PTP Master ClockPTP industrial-grade

Overview

The L6000-PTP master clock is a cost-effective PTP master clock product that supports IEEE1588-2008, IEEE 802.1AS-2011, GPS/BeiDou satellite timing, PPS/TOD output, NTP, and can be flexibly configured through a Web UI. Its main features include providing accurate, reliable, and secure high-precision satellite time reference for network devices, terminals, and servers within firewalls. It enables time synchronization for clients that support standard Network Time Protocol (PTP1588/NTP, including V1/2/3/4) and Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP).

PTP (Precision Time Protocol) master clocks have been widely applied in various fields such as finance, transportation, securities, electricity, mobile communications, petroleum, industry, e-commerce, industrial automation, cloud computing, security, smart cities, the Internet of Things, energy, and national defense.

The L6000-PTP master clock is suitable for systems that require strict time synchronization accuracy and high-precision timekeeping. It can continuously provide timing services even after GPS or Beidou system failures or antenna malfunctions, with a timekeeping accuracy of better than 3 microseconds for 2 hours. Our company offers a money-back guarantee, a three-year warranty, and free technical support for life.

software management

System management:

Equipment wiring: Connect the GNSS antenna to the equipment, and place the antenna receiver outdoors. Connect the equipment's PTP2 port to the computer's network port using a network cable. The default IP address for the equipment's PTP2 port is 192.168.1.80. Set the computer to use a static IP address within the same network segment, such as 192.168.1.10, to ensure that the equipment can be accessed after startup. (The PTP1 port is set to DHCP mode by default.). )

Power the device with a 12V power adapter. Once powered on, the PWR light will be on. Wait for the SYNC indicator light to start flashing, indicating that it is searching for a signal and synchronizing. At this point, you can access the management interface. When the SYNC indicator light is constantly on, it indicates that the main clock time has been synchronized with the GNSS.

Open a web browser on your computer and enter the address 192.168.1.80 to access the device management page. The login account is admin and the password is admin. Once you enter the management interface, you can view the status and perform related configuration operations.

After configuring the PTP1 and PTP2 ports, you can connect them to the slave clock devices or networks that need to be synchronized for synchronization. Note: The PTP1 and PTP2 ports are independent primary clock network ports. Do not connect the two PTP primary clock network ports to the same network.

PTP (Precision Time Protocol) time synchronization:

  • General configuration: Configure clock information and general settings.

  • Port configuration: Configure port parameters.

  • Synchronization status: Displays the clock synchronization status.

  • Port status: Displays the synchronization status of the port.
